Once your application has been approved and your card has arrived, you will need to activate the card before you can use it to make purchases. You can activate your card by using online banking, calling Holiday Coast Credit Union on (02) 6580 8200 (open Mon-Fri), or visiting a branch.

Yes, you can manage your Holiday Coast Credit Union credit card through online banking. You can access statements of your savings, view transaction information, and view all of your cards and accounts online.

When interest is charged

Interest is charged on purchases when you carry a balance on your Holiday Coast Credit Union credit card. Interest is charged on cash advances from the date of withdrawal. How much interest depends on the interest rates charged on that card.

When interest is not charged

Up to 55 interest-free days apply to purchases made by both of the Holiday Coast Credit Union credit cards, as long as you have paid the balance in full for the previous month’s statement and for the current month’s statement. Your credit limit for a Holiday Coast credit card will be determined based on the information you provide in your application, within the minimum and maximum credit limits for each card (see above).

You can close your Holiday Coast Credit Union credit card account at any time by sending a written request to your nearest branch. Your card balance will need to be repaid in full even after the card is closed, and you will continue to receive monthly statements until your card balance is fully repaid.
